We are all looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you here on the 21st. I considered it settled from the first that you were going to stay with us and am delighted that it is to be so: and as I told you before we are all hoping that you will bring Madame Dvořák with you.

Please take your ticket for Victoria and ask if you can register your luggage for Herne Hill if you cannot register it for Dover where in any case it will be examined by the custom house people. Herne Hill is the last station before Victoria and I think the only place the train stops: I shall be there and hope to find you all right.

At Dover you will find an Interpreter and you can give him your keys and he will look after your luggage: and you must please ask him to have it labelled for Herne Hill.
