Dear Doctor,
I am today upon the top of Mt. Pilatus, over 6000 feet high, and having a splendid time. The scenery is magnificent and the air bracing. Little musical themes chase through my brain, and among others this one from the American Symphony:
This expresses my exhilaration and good feeling. Down below Hartford, although it has not been definitely decided. I trust you and your family are well & that you are enjoying the summer & getting rest & strength.
