I have unfortunately mislaid the letter in which you assigned to me in 1884 for £15 each, the English Copyright of your compositions, “Ballade”, op. 15, no. 1, duet for piano and violin, and “Furiant” Op. 12, No 1 pianoforte solo.
Will you therefore be good enough to send me a duplicate letter and receipt for the £30 I paid for these copyrights.
