My dear Dr. Dvořák:

The Century appreciates very sincerely your concern in the matter of the article on Schubert, and eventually acquiesces in your wish in the matter.

I should explain that there is no haste in the matter of the corrections, as the article will not appear for some months, being part of our series by living composers on The Great Composers of the Past. In this series Mr. Roger has written of Berlioz and Mr. Padrensky will write of Chopin and Mr. Grieg of Schumann and the series on a similar scale will include we hope [?], Brahms, Rubinstein, Verdi, Boito, Tschaikowsky, Sullivan + others. The Century appears once a month.
