Basic information
Letter
My dear Dr. Dvořák, I have heard your symphony at a rehearsal and read the score. I am delighted with it and intend to print an article to help people to understand and enjoy it on Friday. May I call on you on Wednesday to show you the excerpts I have made from the score? On Saturday afternoon I will lecture on “Folk-song in America” at a reception after Women’s University Club. Will you do me the honor to attend and hear the songs which I use for illustration? I am sure you will be interested in the music if not in lecture and the ladies of the Club would be glad to see you. Please drop me a note at and it let me know when to call on Friday and when; if you are willing to see me. With much admiration and respect. H.E. Krehbiel
