My dear friend

We have a very bad [connection?] with the post of Pribram, and which on account of that I am late with my answer. Please, pardon me.

Respecting[!]1  the Requiem it is difficult for me ([?] I have not finished the work) to dicide[!]2  or promise something what I later cannot keep - but you can be sure that I gave it to you much [?] like than any. I should like to have a first performance as [?] work [?] Prague, where the next year a great exhibition (which an Emperor inaugurated) is to be held. I am not sure of it, but I would be very glad if it so over. It seems to me necessary, to hear ones work before bringing it out [to?] the great world [?] a little more about it. Will you please send me the fullscore a [?] parts of my Sinfonie which Richter leaved[!]3  you? Please do so.
