It is with much regret to me very much to announce to you that 0 I and my wife [!]¹ [are] taking everything in to carefuling[!]²  consideration we came are quite unable to the conculsion not to come me[!]³  back to New York. The reason why we do so - I beg to explain to you.

Last year my wife was very unhappy, as [she] told me many times because we have been compelled to leave our children in Prague as in under but

The education of children is for everybody us a matter of great importance and so we were compelled to leave our children in Prague and [for] that reason my wife was very unhappy.

As you know we had many troubles and sorrows on account of very serious illness of our daughter Anye[!]⁴  and the little baby - our grandmother (now 73 [years] old) cannot will not take the charge our children, and to leave then to other people we don´t know, is quite impossible for us two.

Unexpectedly, our family circumstances have now changed everything very much and we cannot so we are compelled to do so.
