Some time ago I took the liberty of sending you a programme containing your E flat Piano Quartet, which was successfully performed here for the first time. I hope you received the same. And now I enclose you a programme containing another of your works, which creates a sensation in the musical world here. I have no doubt the enclosed cuttings will have some interest for you. I can not resist telling you how much our my colleagues and myself have enjoyed the F major Quartet. The slow movement being wonderfully beautiful. I am very proud indeed to have produced your works in California for the first time. With beautiful esteem and admiration.
