Dr. Antonín Dvořák, Esteemed Sir, Permit me to add to the many greetings, you may receive at your first visit of Boston, a few hearty words of welcome from the Administration and Faculty of the Conservatory of Music, of which I am the Director. We are all happy to have an opportunity of hearing one of your master works under your own direction and you have our sincere wishes for a great success. I asked Mr. Lang, whether you might not be interested to look over our Institution and he thinks, you would be able to arrange for it and would probably be quite interested in doing it. I shall be at the Conservatory all day any day next week and if you should decide to favor us with a visit, I should be very thankful, to receive a few lines in advance, stating day and hour when you intend to come.
