I have just had a letter from the Birmingham Committee saying that they have not heard from you in reply to the letter I forwarded to you about 2 months ago. I hope you have been thinking over the matter + that you will soon let me know that you intend to write something for them: you must not forget your English friends altogether, you know.

We are having a little holiday down here by the sea and I hope you are enjoying yourselves also somewhere.
